01 The Project

I created a series of illustrations for Our Planet Week to raise awareness about environmental issues and celebrate the beauty of the natural world. The goal was to engage a broad audience, communicating urgent conservation messages through visuals that are both informative and inspiring, encouraging viewers to connect with and care for the planet.

02 The Challenge

The project required translating abstract prompts about nature and sustainability into illustrations that resonate with a global audience. I wanted to convey complex environmental issues, like ecosystem degradation, through an accessible and emotionally engaging lens, while aligning the artwork with the mission of promoting sustainability through illustration and inclusive design. Additionally, the series had to maintain a cohesive visual style while allowing each illustration to stand on its own.

03 The Solution

I created a series of illustrations highlighting the contrast between thriving and damaged ecosystems, drawing inspiration from real-world experiences and sustainable development work. Through visual storytelling, abstract prompts were transformed into clear, emotionally engaging scenes that foster empathy and awareness. Using an inclusive design approach, the visuals were made accessible and relatable to a wide audience. Each illustration was crafted to stand alone while contributing to a cohesive narrative emphasizing our shared responsibility to protect the planet.
