Designed an educational piece on humpback whales, transforming complex conservation issues into an engaging, approachable story. The goal was to spark curiosity and awareness while keeping the content clear and memorable.

The project required translating urgent conservation issues about humpback whales into a design that is engaging, clear, and easy to understand. I needed to convey key facts without overwhelming viewers with text or scientific jargon, ensure accessibility for a wide audience—including those with visual impairments—and maintain a friendly, approachable visual tone suitable for both print and digital formats.

03 The Solution

I designed a clean, visually engaging infographic that uses simple icons to clearly communicate facts and threats facing humpback whales. High-contrast colors enhanced readability and ensured accessibility, while thoughtful layout choices and visual storytelling made the topic approachable for all audiences. I also prioritized inclusivity by considering print options with Braille overlays, creating a design that educates and inspires broader conservation awareness.
